FRIDAY, JULY 21
710 Ashbury at 5 pm
The Lewis & Clark block party kicks off on Friday, July 21 with 710 Ashburn is THE Dead tribute band in Montana. Close your eyes when you listen and you'll swear you were hearing the Dead live! On guitar is John Chart. A deadhead since his early teens Chart has been enthralled by Garcia’s style for years. Eric McEwen is taking over the hot seat at the keys. Eric is a Helena native that has recently returned from a stint on the east coast. Eric is a DeadHead, a masterful keyboard player and well versed in the Jam Band scene. Chris Heisel plays bass. Chris performs in many groups in Helena for obvious reasons…the man can play! Over our many years together, Chris has immersed himself in The Grateful Dead and knows Lesh's playing quite well. Tim Borsberry is on drums. Tim has played drums around Helena for years. This is his first venture into the Grateful Dead world, but Tim has enthusiastically jumped right into the deep end of the pool.
Ten Years Gone at 7 pm
Lewis & Clark favorite Ten Years Gone takes the stake at 7 pm. Ten years gone is a classic, rock, alternative and pop dance band. Get on those dancing shoes, 'cus you're gonna need them for Ten Years Gone! Ten Years Gone is a local Helena band that plays a huge variety, something for everyone and almost every Genre. (No Requests for Polkas please). Classic Rock, Alternative, Country, POP, Funk, and Dance. Formed in 2007, and revisited in 2011. They excel in each of their instruments and have exceptional 3, 4, and 5 part harmonies. Band members include Lead Vocals- Ben Fandry, Lead guitar- Robert Doughty, Bass- Dennis Ferriter, Keys/Pan Flute- Mark Walker, Drums- Jeremy Slead.

To hear Grimes sing is to take a trip through the heart of country music. In 2019, Grimes was named "Entertainer of the Year" at the TCMA Awards Show hosted by the Texas Country Music Association. He also received the honor of “Christian Country Song of the Year” for the second year in a row! In 2020, Grimes took home the "Christian Country Artist of the Year" award along with "Country Single of the Year" for "River Road Dream", a song co-written with Trent Willmon.

Montana’s SunsAh406 captivating, high-energy performances blend professional musicianship, creativity and tradition, original and uniquely written songs, alongside favorites to sing along with and dance to, all in true Montana Americana style.
Always making a personal, feel-good connection with any audience, lead singer Jarred Hanson’s strong, rich, honest and emotive voice, has its own unique signature. Blend in sweet vocal harmonies and a rippin’ fiddle from champion fiddler Carrie Stewart, edgy guitar hooks, moving bass lines, all rounded out with tight drum rhythms, and the result is a distinctive Americana roots-oriented sound with the “SunsAh406 twist”.
The Wildlands at 5 pm
Wildlands is an aspiring Indie Rock Trio based out of Missoula MT. The band creates and performs with an electrifying stage presence for all to enjoy. The power of the songwriting and the chemistry between the members creates an infectious atmosphere full of excitement, heartbreak and the urge to move around. Wildlands is here to inspire, entertain and show the world the passion of music.

Rocky Athas, known by critics and fans as The Texas Tornado, The Malice from Dallas, The Young Eric Clapton and The Last Great Bluesbreaker Guitarist, possesses an arsenal of punishing guitar riffs and catchy hooks that have opened every door. From his first solo album at Willie Nelson's studio with multi-Grammy winning producer, Jim Gaines, to recording with Buddy Miles and SRV's Double Trouble to Glenn Hughes, Joe Walsh and John Mayall, Rocky has a blues rock pedigree that reads like a Who's Who of musicians. You might not know how to pronounce his name correctly, but you will most certainly remember his playing! With his wonderfully crafted new album "Shakin' The Dust" Rocky is here to announce his return from the international touring stage with The Godfather of British Blues to reclaim his rightful place front and center delivering his musical message with Texas style.
