About The Event
Winners of the 2024 Bozeman's Choice Bluegrass Band, Trout Basket dishes up high-energy, hard-driving bluegrass music for the masses. They craft heartfelt originals and rearranged covers of popular songs that are sure to get people dancing. Their masterful harmonies will tug at your heartstrings, while their skillful instrumentation melts your face.
Trout Basket was formed in 2020 with multi-instrumentalist, Garrett Benjamin and Bass aficionado, Brendan Fox. They began as a duo and had the idea to feature different players for each show. Eventually, they settled in and hired Luke Gladis on mandolin and Lily Johnston on fiddle to round out their sound. The two have become mainstays ever since.
