Wes Urbaniak and the Mountain Folk play lanigiro (original backwards because original is overused), mountain folk music takes the listener on a thought-provoking journey. Buried with their roots in mountain folk, the band executes on crossing genres by swooping and dipping into bluegrass, Americana, pop-folk, beatboxing, etcetera. The semi-tamed wild sound of Wes Urbaniak’s lead vocals, in combination with the high and low harmonies, powerfully sing out on the hardships, lessons learned, and beauty in life.
